Report on Widget Bucks

Well I have been using Widget Bucks for a week or so now and I have to say that I am very impressed, there are a few dollars coming in and the ease of set up, certainly appears to make them a viable alternative to Google AdSense.

There is only one catch and that is that noone has actually been paid yet, however they do appear to be a reputable company so I am sure that payment will not be a problem come November when the first people that signed up will probably become due. (They pay 45 days after you have reached $50 in a month)

Widgetbucks also have a decent referral system and it works like this..

Yes. When you refer a new WidgetBucks user, you will receive a 10 percent referral fee based on the commissions earned by the people you refer. You'll receive this 10 percent for the full 12 months after the new member joins. Your referral fees will be credited to your account and paid monthly, along with your commission payout.

Its definitely worth a shot and you can use it alongside Google AdSense because it is not contextual (You choose the category and the ads are worked out by that category that you choose. )

If you want to jump on board the widget boat you can join here.

A slight addendum too Rob - although on the WidgetBucks website there is much hype about 'up to $6 CPM' it appears this is based on clicks rather than impressions.

As you'll know, CPM is usually associated with impression earnings so their wording is slightly confusing - it suggests there are earnings solely for impressions which doesn't appear to be the case.

Still, I'm on about 28 cents per click now which isn't bad at all!

Stratz: thanks for signing up under my referral, glad it is working for you.

Tom: thanks for pointing that out, yes I think the wording they have is a bit confusing
