I came across The News Room website when I was browsing the PayPerPost assignments and I thought what a great site to write about, its another way to make money online and this is entertainment at the same time. Needless to say I am very excited to try it.

How it works is that if you choose to share the content on your site, like I have done with the video clip below, you then share in the revenue - TheNewsRoom has an innovative payment model that can earn you up to $4 per thousand impressions (CPM).

Signing up
Its free to sign up to TheNewsRoom.com and didn't take long at all, address details for any checks that are sent to you along with the usual email details and that was it.

Searching for Content
I used the advanced search to find a video relating to Blogging which is what I wanted to place on this site. Its just a matter of entering a keyword(s) and selecting videos and away we went. There were a surprising number of results and the site appears to be well connected to a large number of major news networks.

Will it earn any Money?
Only time will tell how this model works, however if you have a high traffic news or entertainment related site this could certainly have a great deal of potential.
